Pencil skirt outfits are timeless. They can be so classy that any woman can feel confident in them. I love high waisted pencil skirts, because I’m petite and they really help elongate the figure visually. At the same time, they are easy to wear. You can match it with light sweaters, tee shirts, blouses, tank tops, and so on. The layering options are unlimited. I had a grey wool-blend skirt for my winter capsule, and decided to continue styling it into spring. Below are 3 outfit ideas for a spring transitional mini-capsule, to show how to style pencil skirts for the spring:

Outfit 3: Wear a cropped jacket to show off the skirt

Tuck in the t-shirt, add a belt and elevate the waist line

Layer a pink trench coat and throw on a houndstooth scarf for additional warmth

Scarf – don’t remember the brand, feels like wool/cashmere, had it since 2007. Classic patterns and simple designs never go out of style.
